EARLY BIRD PRICING
You’ve got the hip squeezes down.
You hold space like a pro.
You can walk clients through birth planning in your sleep.
But when it’s time to actually protect that plan in the hospital?
When the provider suggests Pitocin to “speed things up” or another cervical check because 2 hours have gone by… Do you freeze? Overthink it? Worry you’ll overstep?
Let me guess…your doula training probably taught you that your job was to stay silent. That it wasn’t in your “scope of practice” to speak up?
It’s time to unlearn that.

“I used to think advocacy meant being the loudest voice in the room...turns out, it’s about knowing exactly when to speak and what to say—and doing it with confidence.”
— Kiera Walsh

You’re not “just the support person.” You’re a key part of the birth team—and your silence speaks just as loud as your words.
-
Let’s talk about the fear, self-doubt, and second-guessing that shows up when you want to speak up—but don’t.
-
You’re not there to make everyone happy. You’re there to make sure your client is heard, respected, and informed. Period.
-
Even when your heart is in the right place, unspoken assumptions or subtle judgment can impact the experience. We’ll talk about how to check your bias and center your client—every time.
-
If you’re running on fumes, advocacy will feel impossible. Let’s talk sustainability, clear boundaries, and protecting your energy before the system eats you alive.
-
This is where things get real. You’ll practice what to say, how to say it, and how to handle tough situations in the moment—so you’re not beating yourself up after the birth.
-
You don’t have to be combative to be confident. Learn how to speak up with calm clarity—and stay in your lane while still protecting your client’s plan.
This is your reset.
It’s time to stop playing small and start showing up as the advocate your clients really need—especially when things get hard.
Confident doulas advocate better.
Better advocacy leads to better births.

You’ll walk away with real skills, clear scripts, and the ability to speak up without second-guessing yourself—ever again.
You’ve nailed holding space. Now it’s time to own your voice in the room.
Let’s get your reset on the calendar.
Kiera Walsh is a seasoned doula, birth educator, and the host of The Birth Advocacy Podcast. After attending over 100 births and supporting hundreds of moms, she’s on a mission to help other doulas stop tiptoeing and start advocating—without burning out or losing their voice in the hospital.
She’s not here to teach you how to hold space—you’ve already nailed that.
She’s here to help you speak up when it counts, protect your client’s plan, and stop walking out of births wondering if you should’ve said more. Her style is bold, direct, and refreshingly honest.
Kiera brings strategy, street smarts, and real-world experience to the table—so you leave this workshop with tools you’ll actually use when things get tough.
